Kids In Charge has a good relationship with the School and run both Breakfast and Afterschool club from the main hall gym of the school.
The children are also able to use the outdoor facilities to play facilities plus the library and ICT suite .
The children enjoy playing with the outdoor apparatus, on the playing field. running races and doing mini Olympics as well as eating their snack on the grass a sunny after noon chatting to friends.
Here at Mossford Green cooking is a firm favourite with both boys and girls alike.
The children and staff at Mossford Green school enjoy warm relationships. The children are encouraged to challenge themselves with the weekly challenge activities and they encourage each other to beat their own scores in these challenges. Soon after arrival at the club children are able to enjoy a healthy snack daily. The children enjoy the range of foods that are from a menu prepared from suggestions children have made.
All food is prepared on site by staff who have been trained to Level 2 in Food Hygiene.
Children enjoy opportunities to develop their cooking and art skills with the weekly one hour clubs run at Mossford Green After school club.
There are lots of craft making activities on offer at the club and children enjoy working with clay, sewing as well as painting. The children at Mossford Green after school club enjoy role play immensely and can often be seen dressing up and developing character’s and scenes. The spacious hall and access to all the outside areas offer children excellent space to ‘chill’ as well as let off steam .
Whether a child wants to rest and curl up in a cosy corner after a tiring day or has felt confined and wants to leap about in the physical area there is a place for them at Kids In Charge after school club.
The friendly staff will learn very quickly about your child and plan to support with the social development as well as academic areas.
Homework session for all children and reading session for all children is scheduled once per week with support.
Staff listen to children reading their school books and can support the younger children with writing and early number work on request.
